Safemoods Reaches 470,000 Facebook Fans
The Safemoods series of animations from Funmoods shows kids in a fun, unthreatening way how to use social media safely. With about 500 new “likes” each day, the number of Facebook Fans on the Safemoods Facebook Page doubled from December 2011 to December 2012.
Funmoods created and introduced the Safemoods animations in March 2011, as a fun way to raise awareness about cyber-wellness and responsible use of the internet among Funmoods’ audiences. The Safemoods’ animated videos also tackle relevant critical issues such as privacy protection and bullying.
A number of educational organizations have partnered with Funmoods to help spread the Safemoods safety messages.
